The P8 Platform is an upgrade to Avaya's existing File Net Content Management System (CMS) that provided new features and functionality and allow Avaya to operate as a best-in-class software vendor. The existing Content services based system is being upgraded to File Net P8For Up gradation File Net P8 out of the box Workplace web application is being customized as per Avaya requirements.

 

Once implemented, the P8 repository will be shared by the entire Avaya Enterprise Portal (AEP), which will later include the CSS website. P8 will also be accessed by Knova and the Verity search engine. The system shall facilitate the centralized management of product related documents; and their processing via workflow processes. This project contains 4 modules: File Document, Search, Reports and administration modules.
